ELIZABETH NUCKOWSKA

Just like her fondness for gardening, Elizabeth Nuckowska flexes her green fingers, nurturing her clients to blossom into effective leaders, employees, and mediators. Her array of awards for various leadership and diversity successes gives a nod towards her exceptional standards of consulting – we’re still holding out for her place in the Chelsea Flower Show. Watch this space… 2022?

Elizabeth has over 25 years’ HR experience in Human Resources and Operations spanning the public, private and not for profit sectors. Roles included Director of Leadership Development, Head of Learning and Board Member as well as being responsible for training and mentoring trainers, mediators, investigators and coaches. Elizabeth has a person-centred approach, believing that every individual/organisation has the solution/answer to the question or issue they pose.

She is a highly skilled consultant, facilitator, mediator, investigator, and Action Learning Set facilitator who is values driven and integrity and professionalism always come first.

Qualifying as a mediator in 2008, she has successfully delivered mediation training for various sectors, including public, local and central Government, NHS, financial, legal, education and other regulated services. She has also mediated and facilitated a number of individual and team conflicts, working with individuals, teams and organisations. Her practice is underpinned with operational experience in both Civil and Criminal Law giving her a broad understanding of the judicial process, as well as a solid background on employment law ranging from the drafting and implementation of policies, negotiations with Unions, through to investigations, appeals and representation at Employment Tribunals.

Elizabeth has received numerous awards for her Leadership and Diversity programmes in various settings.  Her blended organisational cultural transformation programmes for the Judicial Services industry were highly commended by City and Guilds assessors for being very sophisticated and extremely well thought out; and was awarded Learning and Development Impact of the Year by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

Outside work she loves travelling, and is passionate about the natural world and striving for a healthy environment for all. She particularly enjoys propagating, nurturing and growing plants and fresh produce, many of which go towards fundraising at community events.

What people say:

“Elizabeth is an inspirational trainer and coach. She is incredibly intuitive – a pleasure to work alongside and my own skills and knowledge base grew as a result of collaborative working on a key leadership programme for middle managers.”

Julie Barber, Leadership and Engagement Manager at Bournemouth University

“Thank you for all your help. It’s been an amazing experience definitely a lot of self-reflection and understand my management style and what I want to achieve. I really found this journey valuable and it made a huge difference to a working relationship I was convinced wouldn’t work. We now feel so supportive of one another and we are really working towards building on trusting one another. Thank you for all your support and calming techniques – they’ve done wonders for me and helped me see sense in really stressful and frustrating situations.”

Thank you for everything I will be forwarding on – thanks for being amazing! Exactly what I needed.

“Elizabeth delivered our NCWM 5-day course recently and we had a thoroughly fantastic time. She was warm, inviting, encouraging, and put everyone at ease. She has oodles of patience and humanity and her passion for mediation is crystal clear in how enthusiastically she teaches. It was a challenging course for me personally at times, because of a previous experience of mediation, and I really felt that Elizabeth metaphorically held my hand through my learning experience, without ever treating me as anything other than her equal. I am so grateful to Elizabeth for providing such a rich environment in which our group could connect, learn, falter, reflect, succeed and have lots of fun and laughter in.”
