SAMANTHA WHITEHEAD

Sam is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and has over 20 years’ experience of working in the private sector in HR roles. She has successfully led and supported on a wide range of complex ER issues including investigations, mediation, disciplinary, grievance, tribunal, redundancy and TUPE. Sam trained as a Mediator with TCM and importantly because there is a fit with her own personal values and ethos.  She believes that her personal values and beliefs particularly of integrity, empathy and treating people with respect & dignity are central to her being quickly able to build and maintain collaborative relationships.   She is passionate about corporate social responsibility and this is also reflected in her ongoing commitment to voluntary work in the public sector including within the Ministry of Justice.

Outside of work Sam’s passion are her smallish herd of alpacas/llamas in Teesdale, in the North of England.  They are curious and inquisitive animals (just like Sam!) and like any proud parent she loves to talk about her ‘kids’!
